Professional Background

I have been a substantive NHS Consultant Geriatrician and General Physician at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust since 2012.From 2019 to 2025, I was Head of Specialty for Elderly Medicine at Imperial, with responsibility for a multi-site department of 17 consultant geriatricians.I am an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College School of Medicine and a former General Internal Medicine Training Programme Director for North West Thames.I have undertaken independent medicolegal work since 2015. My work includes expert reports and advisory opinions for claimant and defendant solicitors, independent reports for HM Coroners, capacity assessments and prognosis reports.My qualifications are MBChB, MSc in Geriatric Medicine with Distinction, and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
